Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have made the decision to postpone our Whitfield-Normandale Reunion until a later date, most likely in late Summer or early Fall. We were dearly looking forward to being with you all on April 18 and eagerly look ahead to when we shall. If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to call us at 334-281-2467 or email us at

Out of respect for one another and our community, Whitfield UMC has canceled all services and activities through April 26 to help minimize COVID-19's effect and do our part to "flatten the curve." Our offices are open for regular hours:  Mon-Thurs. 8:30am - 3:30pm. We are assessing the situation and our safest options as time progresses. Thank you for your patience and please let us know if there is any way we can be here for you.

- Pastor Jim

Mission Statement

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

(Matthew 22:37-38)

At Whitfield United Methodist Church, we are setting our hearts to live for God with everything we have by loving him wholeheartedly, loving others as we desire ourselves to be loved, and making disciples who set their lives to do the same.
